Summer Camp opportunities!

Epilepsy Foundation

Camp Shing held Friday, June 23, 2006 at Tall Oaks Conference Center in Linwood, KS. Children ages 6 to 17 who have epilepsy, as well as their parents and siblings, are welcome to attend. Activities include horseback riding, swimming, arts & crafts and campfires. Call 816-444-2800 or 1 800 972-5163 for more information.

Cerebral Palsy

Kansas Jaycees Cerebral Palsy Ranch has a well rounded, diverse camping program for children and adults.

Camps include a fitness/exercise camp, summer safari, family fun, Camp Imagination, Slime, Grime & Geoopology, Earth, Wind, Fire & Water, Aloha. Call 316-775-2421 or check out their web site www.cpranch.org for a list of specific camp information.

Autism Asperger

The Autism Asperger Resource Center hosts Camp Determination held June 27th-30th, July 25th-28th, or September 28th-Oct 1st at Tall Oaks Conference Center 45 minutes west of KC metropolitan area. Children ages 8 to 18 who have autism spectrum disorders and peer models are welcome to attend. Activities include horseback riding, fishing, swimming, archery, hiking, canoeing, art, music, sensory and social development activities.
